</a></div>Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs has passed away today at the age of 56. Visit <a href="http://www.apple.com%20/">www.apple.com </a>today to see Apple's tribute to its revolutionary CEO.<br />
<br />
Here are some of Apple's inventions:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e3/Macintosh_128k_transparency.png/511px-Macintosh_128k_transparency.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e3/Macintosh_128k_transparency.png/511px-Macintosh_128k_transparency.png" width="272" /></a></div>The original Macintosh, introduced on January 24, 1984. The start of Apple's success: the first commercially successful personal computer to use a graphical user interface.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/07/IMac_aluminium.png/632px-IMac_aluminium.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/07/IMac_aluminium.png/632px-IMac_aluminium.png" width="320" /></a></div>The current generation iMac, what the Macintosh has evolved into, and possibly the world's most well-designed PC.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/35/Ipod_1G.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/35/Ipod_1G.png" /></a></div><br />
The original iPod, which had a mechanical click-wheel, and revolutionized the mp3 market.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/images/techspecs_color_black.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/images/techspecs_color_black.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
The current-generation iPod Touch: what the original iPod evolved into over the course of many years. The iPod Touch is hundreds of times more powerful than the original $3000 Macintosh.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a5/Apple_Newton_MP100.jpg/430px-Apple_Newton_MP100.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a5/Apple_Newton_MP100.jpg/430px-Apple_Newton_MP100.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><br />
The Apple Newton, which didn't do so well, but was much ahead of its time, a revolutionary device that led to the development of many modern Apple devices.<br />

<br />
The Apple iPad 2: the culmination of years of revolutionary products and a creation that is like nothing the tech world has had before.<br />
<br />
While Steve has passed on, his ideas will live on as Apple. <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://phandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/xperia-x10-mini-pro-550x347.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="201" src="http://phandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/xperia-x10-mini-pro-550x347.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Overview:<br />
The emphasis of this phone is its tiny size. Despite its minuteness, it is still a very capable phone.This phone runs Android 2.1 and has 128 mb of RAM. It uses the same 600 mhz processor which is used in the HTC Aria and Legend. But, this phone has a QVGA display, rather than a HVGA display. While this sounds like it would be a bad thing, the lower resolution isn't very noticeable on a display that is only 2.55 inches large. The plus side is that the lower resolution gives higher performance from the processor. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash, as well as a 3.5 mm headset jack. This phone also has a qwerty keyboard with well-spaced keys.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/02/mwc2010seminimain.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="229" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/02/mwc2010seminimain.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Performance:<br />
As I previously stated, the QVGA display works wonders for the performance of this tiny little phone. It scores over 500 in Quadrant, and gets around 40 fps in Neocore. This is almost as high as the HTC Desire, a high end phone with a 1ghz Snapdragon processor. With custom ROMs, you can achieve up to an 1100 score in Quadrant. <br />
<br />
Features and Build Quality:<br />
This phone is packed with all the standard smartphone features, including a qwerty keyboard, a capacitive touchscreen, and a high-quality 5 megapixel camera. The keyboard is very pleasant to use and it is easy to type without looking at. Here is a sample image taken with this phone.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://st.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-mini-pro/camera/gsmarena_001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://st.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-mini-pro/camera/gsmarena_001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Verdict:<br />
This phone is a great, affordable Android device. It's perfect for those who want a smartphone that is compact and quick. If you want a powerful and easy to use device, this is likely it. However, this is not much of a multimedia phone. It does a great job with music and the occasional Youtube video, but don't expect to be watching movies or tv shows on this device. If you don't care for a physical keyboard, you can go for the Xperia X10 Mini, which will save you some money and is a little thinner.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://xperia-x1.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xperia-x10-mini-lime.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="190" src="http://xperia-x1.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/xperia-x10-mini-lime.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-116761858627561582010-09-01T15:31:00.000-07:002010-09-01T15:31:57.648-07:00New iPods!!!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Apple announced three new iPods today!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://storeimages.apple.com/1737/store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/touch/img/ipodtouch-hero.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="260" src="http://storeimages.apple.com/1737/store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/touch/img/ipodtouch-hero.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
The first of which is a new iPod touch. It has a gyro sensor, retina display, and two cameras. It also now has Apple's A4 processor.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://storeimages.apple.com/1737/store.apple.com/Catalog/regional/amr/nano/img/overview-hero-gen6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="207" src="http://storeimages.apple.com/1737/store.apple.com/Catalog/regional/amr/nano/img/overview-hero-gen6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Another updated iPod is the iPod Nano. It has a multi-touch touch screen, a clip, and is a lot smaller.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://storeimages.apple.com/1737/store.apple.com/Catalog/regional/amr/shuffle/img/shuffle-silver-gen4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://storeimages.apple.com/1737/store.apple.com/Catalog/regional/amr/shuffle/img/shuffle-silver-gen4.jpg" /></a></div>The iPod Shuffle has actually stepped back in time and gained physical buttons. But this time around, the Shuffle has voice-over. Only a 2gb version is available.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-38120083554328865152010-08-18T09:50:00.000-07:002010-08-18T09:50:35.359-07:00Mass Effect on PS3!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://images.lazygamer.co.za/2009/10/meps3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://images.lazygamer.co.za/2009/10/meps3.jpg" width="277" /></a></div><br />
It's official, Mass Effect 2 is coming to the PS3 in January 2011! I find this odd, because Mass Effect 3 is also set to be released next year, so maybe ME2 will be a PSN download? Microsoft has announced that ME1 will remain an Xbox exclusive.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-8334595293387176072010-08-07T13:09:00.000-07:002010-08-07T13:09:30.805-07:00Droid 2 Advertisement!!!I found this ad for the Motorola Droid 2 in a Verizon advertising supplement, and I thought I'd share it.<br />

I have just recently purchased a pair of earbuds called Thinksound Rain. The motive behind this product is getting great sound from an environmentally friendly set of earbuds. Did I mention that they're made of wood? I purchased the cherry-silver version shown above, but there is also a walnut-black version.<a href="http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2010/02/500x_thinksoudnpurd.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" src="http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2010/02/500x_thinksoudnpurd.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 205px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 429px;" /></a><br />
The picture above shows the Thinksound Rain earphones in walnut-black and the Thinksound TS01 earphones in cherry-silver. The Rain earphones are higher end and have 9 millimeter drivers, and the TS01s have more bass due to their 10 millimeter drivers. The Rains are better for music such as pop, light rock, jazz, etc., while the TS01s are for bass-heavy rock, Hip-hop, etc.<a href="http://www.digitaltrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/thinksound-rain-g3.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" src="http://www.digitaltrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/thinksound-rain-g3.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 254px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 410px;" /></a><br />
My take:<br />
These earphones sound great, and anyone looking for amazing sound quality will be pleased. At first, the Rains sounded really bad, but I suspected it was the fault of my mp3s. Sure enough, when I listened to some OGG and FLAC files online, the earphones sounded amazing! I listened to some hip-hop, and I didn't notice any lack of bass. But, if you're one of those people who want's their teeth to rattle when listening to music, these are not for you. Since these earphones are made of wood, they look very classy and are lightweight. The silicone tips provide a decent amount of passive noise-cancellation, when you make sure to use the perfect size.<br />
<a href="http://www.thinksound.com/images/galleries/pouch_clr_fittings_lg.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" src="http://www.thinksound.com/images/galleries/pouch_clr_fittings_lg.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 463px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 421px;" /></a>In the box:<br />
The Rains come with a cotton pouch, a clip to attach the cord to your shirt, and four sets of differently sized silicone tips. Watch my unboxing video <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl7ClRF4V8k">here</a>. These are $100 on the Thinksound website, but sell for about $50 on Amazon.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">The Verdict:</span><br />
If you want a nice-sounding, affordable pair of earphones, definitely pick these up. Since these are made of wood, they have a rich sound and look really unique.<br />

Both games are completely different experiences, and both are a must buy.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-67589541481847867152010-03-16T15:40:00.000-07:002010-03-16T16:20:20.264-07:00Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Review<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.platformnation.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/MW-2-Cover.PNG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 316px; height: 375px;" src="http://www.platformnation.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/MW-2-Cover.PNG" alt="" border="0" /></a>The game that everyone was waiting for! That's the easiest way to describe Modern Warfare 2. Read on for more info on the game.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Storyline:</span><br />MW2's storyline focuses on 2 characters that you can play as. One character from the Army Rangers (Sergeant Ramirez) and another from Task Force 141 (Roach, and later, Captain MacTavish). The storyline is very action-packed with a lot of plot twists. But, the game seems too short.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2007/3703563095_7ddc159741.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 460px; height: 368px;" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2007/3703563095_7ddc159741.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Gameplay:</span><br />The gameplay of MW2 is extremely fun, for a lack of a better word. From the moment you pick up the controller, you feel like you've been playing for years. Your partner CPU characters are very responsive and work well with you. Spec Ops is another thing to look forward to. Spec Ops focuses in being able to play various missions via splitscreen or solo. But by far, Multiplayer takes the cake. With immense customizability and numerous killstreaks, you never have to play under the same setup for any two games. Multiplayer is very rewarding, allowing you to unlock perks, weapons, killstreaks, badges, titles, and even weapon camo. 3rd person mode is an added bonus for multiplayer.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.perezstart.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-2-Multiplayer.png"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 497px; height: 278px;" src="http://www.perezstart.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-2-Multiplayer.png" alt="" border="0" /></a><span style="font-weight: bold;">Weapons and Vehicles:</span><br />The vehicle sequences in campaign are also very intriguing, and no two of them are alike. You control a Humvee, a snowmobile, an armed Stryker, Predator Missiles, and many other vehicles throughout the course of the game. On Multiplayer, the only vehicles you can control are killstreaks, and occasionally, turrets. Weapons are extremely responsive and realistic on both modes of gameplay.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.oxmonline.com/files/u17834/Humvee_Convoy.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 404px; height: 227px;" src="http://www.oxmonline.com/files/u17834/Humvee_Convoy.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Verdict:</span><br />MW2 is an amazing game for players of all skill levels. Campaign feels short, but Spec Ops and Multiplayer make up for it, and then some. If you are looking for a fun FPS, this is the game for you. Every Xbox 360 or PS3 owner should own this game.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-45355080700676329012010-03-15T20:00:00.000-07:002010-03-16T16:19:39.980-07:00Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Review<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.gamecheats.eu/boxshots/uncharted-2-among-thieves--40022.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 447px; height: 523px;" src="http://www.gamecheats.eu/boxshots/uncharted-2-among-thieves--40022.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was game of the year 2009 for many gaming websites. But why is it so good you ask? This review tells all.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Storyline:</span><br />The storyline of Uncharted 2 is great, to say the least. The main character, Nathan Drake, is a treasure hunter who hears about the Cintamani Stone and it's awesome power. He goes after it, with his hopes set high. Unfortunately, he isn't the only one after it. This creates the epic fight scenes in the game. If I say any more, I'll spoil the game.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Gameplay:</span><br />The overall gameplay of this game is amazing. The HUD is extremely simple, yet effective. The weapons are perfectly balanced. Ak47s are powerful and inaccurate, and M4s are more accurate, just as they should be.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://epicbattleaxe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/uncharted2paxvid.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 530px; height: 295px;" src="http://epicbattleaxe.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/uncharted2paxvid.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><span style="font-weight: bold;">Weapons and vehicles:</span><br />As I mentioned, weapons are perfectly balanced. Vehicles on the other hand, are not very fun. There are barely any vehicles in campaign and none in multiplayer. You can't choose which position on the vehicle you want to play in, and it seems rehearsed. Speaking of multiplayer, It is spectacular. That doesn't mean it'll ever replace Modern Warfare 2.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://upperfifth.co.uk/keybrood/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/uncharted_2_multiplayer_pre.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 636px; height: 339px;" src="http://upperfifth.co.uk/keybrood/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/uncharted_2_multiplayer_pre.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Verdict:</span><br />This game deserved the title of best game 2009 for a reason. Campaign mode is near, if not, perfect, and multiplayer rounds out the deal. If you are looking for a great 3rd person game which has an amazing campaign and a great multiplayer mode, this is for you.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-12312848303655379902009-09-08T19:13:00.000-07:002010-03-22T17:25:10.105-07:00PS3 Mini-ReviewI have just gotten my hands on an 80 gb Playstation 3. This is a mini-review on it.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdws79a4uCBaU3QxGlsYlErNC4YLi3Iy63naI5JXi3DNk5vJ-cg-FbODC-k1-Rug52eU39TNHyZr6sr1Rb1Ny_sz3VW5PnikCw4pIvsQAbbQhY3-NTsmfQH50M8gjV6TYaDzkeypSWZz9G/s1600-h/ps3.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 356px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdws79a4uCBaU3QxGlsYlErNC4YLi3Iy63naI5JXi3DNk5vJ-cg-FbODC-k1-Rug52eU39TNHyZr6sr1Rb1Ny_sz3VW5PnikCw4pIvsQAbbQhY3-NTsmfQH50M8gjV6TYaDzkeypSWZz9G/s400/ps3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379626223682643474" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Looks</span><br /> The 80 gb console does look really more suave than the new PS3 slim. The glossy finish looks a lot better than the matte. It doesn't really matter about finger prints because no one really touches their PS3, except to change the disk. The touch sensitive buttons on the PS3 are really cool. Unfortunately, they have been replaced by physical buttons on the slim.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Game Titles</span><br /> The PS3 really does have quite a good selection of cool games. Unfortunately, Halo is not one of them (Sony, Microsoft, DUH!). But, games like Warhawk and Killzone 2 are simply irreplaceable.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Graphics</span><br />The graphics on the PS3 are amazing (Try playing Killzone in 1080p!). Not just games, but bluray movies are awesome, too! There is generally no lag, and images are amazingly crisp.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Online Connectivity</span><br />The online connectivity options for the PS3 are great. The internet browser is really helpful and Youtube XL works great. PSN is really intuitive and is free (unlike Xbox Live). Something great that the PS3 has and the Xbox 360 doesn't is Wi-Fi. This is a huge factor in terms of browsing. With an Xbox, you have to get a huge ethernet cable for internet.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Features</span><br />The features are really the selling point for the PS3. It comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and , the coolest of all, a bluray player. Another great selling point is the accelorometer in the controller.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Final Words</span><br />The PS3 really is a great deal and an amazing gaming device. If you're deciding between the Xbox 360 and PS3, go for the PS3.<br /><br />Here is a calculation chart for the price of an Xbox 360 to get the same features of a PS3 (using the Xbox 360 premium and Ps3 80 gb):<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT9Y5WXczey-wsBBx1NBYpOoxVIC8XKQ-CZ6mw3I-9pNPcqC4eZUO4UbNlQs7HPtoESOovRENoUScsDlrmF85vHEY9A-y0jEJU6lkirj4usyR5-y_OIR8H1C9z6h9Q_vxA8ZfWkzwuulHF/s1600-h/Comparison+Chart.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT9Y5WXczey-wsBBx1NBYpOoxVIC8XKQ-CZ6mw3I-9pNPcqC4eZUO4UbNlQs7HPtoESOovRENoUScsDlrmF85vHEY9A-y0jEJU6lkirj4usyR5-y_OIR8H1C9z6h9Q_vxA8ZfWkzwuulHF/s400/Comparison+Chart.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379625535995649586" border="0" /></a>Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-65103423268299618472009-07-09T16:37:00.000-07:002009-07-09T20:48:42.145-07:00iPhone OS 3.0<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHq1-246n_Y-lrziyVBBTIx0yfa-mKenb_4kZOIKQtmMFDSRaUc8bvO32IRlPNHgKxYaCL4apjjow-4HpoJfipbWnyqnaW5YuU5z_yV04Ov7xHVPrXL3ZxReFnewNZLzSFjNZGTbJHZUbT/s1600-h/cut-copy-landscape-20090622.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 399px; height: 340px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHq1-246n_Y-lrziyVBBTIx0yfa-mKenb_4kZOIKQtmMFDSRaUc8bvO32IRlPNHgKxYaCL4apjjow-4HpoJfipbWnyqnaW5YuU5z_yV04Ov7xHVPrXL3ZxReFnewNZLzSFjNZGTbJHZUbT/s400/cut-copy-landscape-20090622.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356671730161731026" border="0" /></a> I know I'm kind of late to review iPhone OS 3.0, but I just got it, so here is my review on iPhone 3.0! I have a 1st generation ipod touch, so I can not describe some new features, such as voice dialing on the iPhone 3GS, stereo bluetooth on the 2nd gen iPod touch, etc.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFnCFg_DnzUj2wlQzBAfwzVlzemVgPzB-beJTZQgv3XrymAUAAdujgREUbGiFKBlHhSBJMfUMd784PSUFR7_ueON_7ELsle33r6rwWAmwh7c5wif7lTq_WrZwdDnpfcJmRg6LcYupV8t2n/s1600-h/iphone-3-0.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 289px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFnCFg_DnzUj2wlQzBAfwzVlzemVgPzB-beJTZQgv3XrymAUAAdujgREUbGiFKBlHhSBJMfUMd784PSUFR7_ueON_7ELsle33r6rwWAmwh7c5wif7lTq_WrZwdDnpfcJmRg6LcYupV8t2n/s400/iphone-3-0.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356670174132430434" border="0" /></a><br /> Upgrading is a cinch, that is, unless you are have a jailbroken iPod touch or iPhone. When I upgraded, I lost all of my Jailbroken apps, themes, plugins, etc. What was worse was that many of the apps I re-installed did not work!<br /><br /> Copy-Paste was pretty much the most anticipated feature in OS 3.0. But, as a jailbreak user, this is nothing new to me. As for other users, this is very useful. It is very easy to use, and works throughout the phone. Here is a screenshot of it in action.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQtXYiPp8CWHAFD339G8dt8w6hbTj8ZR2DvRnKgbGHpQMNdqQxWWMEjCSP0FglPMqAcc7x2p6LVxK7jct4yEzXHCIogblHHOo0viHw1ArDtohWPKCgZEjf_f0khNn-O3hI1AAYW6tTBzeu/s1600-h/IMG_0007.PNG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 262px; height: 388px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQtXYiPp8CWHAFD339G8dt8w6hbTj8ZR2DvRnKgbGHpQMNdqQxWWMEjCSP0FglPMqAcc7x2p6LVxK7jct4yEzXHCIogblHHOo0viHw1ArDtohWPKCgZEjf_f0khNn-O3hI1AAYW6tTBzeu/s400/IMG_0007.PNG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356611611767682306" border="0" /></a><br /> Spotlight is also a useful new feature. There are apps to search your iPhone in Cydia, but none as quick or easy to use as spotlight. I generally use it to quickly launch my songs, apps, etc. It even searches your Safari history! Now, I am going to show you how to put Custom Firmware on PSPs that are not m33 capable. This will even work on PSP 3000s.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Before we begin, I would like to state that I am not in any way responsible if anything happens to your PSP. No matter what you do, there is always a chance of bricking your PSP.</span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> Please read through the whole tutorial before starting it.<br /><br /></span>Step 1: Update your <a href="http://pspslimhacks.com/index.php?dl_id=235">firmware to 5.03</a>. It MUST be 5.03 or it won't work.<br /><br />Step 2: Use <a href="http://pspslimhacks.com/?dl_id=237">ChickHen r2</a> to enable homebrew. Place the h.bin file directly in the the root of the memory card, and place the folder with the pictures of eggs in the PHOTO folder. To use ChickHen, just go to photos on your PSP, go into the ChickHen folder and go to the bottom image which is a .tiff image. Your PSP's screen should flash in a different color and reboot into ChickHen. If it doesn't, keep trying again and again. Turning of UMD autostart and UMD cache speeds up the process. Having no images other than the ChickHen folder also helps.<br /><br />Step 3: Connect your PSP to your PC and unzip <a href="http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1739">5.03 Gen-A</a>.<br /><br />Step 4: Open the LAUNCH-ME.exe file.<br /><br />Step 5: Choose either PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 (PSP-3000s are the ones with the microphone next to the PSP logo below the screen) and choose mode FULL.<br /><br />Step 6: Choose PSP install option YES, and press START.<br /><br />Step 7: After the files are copied to your PSP, disconnect your PSP from your computer. Connect your PSP to its charger as a precaution.<br /><br />Step 8: Launch the EBOOT.PBP/ loader from your PSP.<br /><br />Step 9: Once the app has loaded, press L or R to flash the firmware to your PSP. You only need to do this ONCE!<br /><br />Step 10: Press () to reboot into the new custom firmware.<br /><br />Congratulations, your PSP should now have custom firmware!<br />For more information, visit <a href="http://pspslimhacks.com/503gen-a-custom-firmware-released/">this website</a>.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-89002184688801483682009-06-08T18:44:00.000-07:002009-06-08T22:14:42.630-07:00Apple's WWDC 2009<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGsDxUoO5Zk5_dbeINWfM3sCthr9Ge3CksFhbLzScdrZEu-qIONE4o_7JXti8F2vrYVULshNrKPVuhTau9kWuTe1TgxQvnu7GPVsrftuZ4pqrH-jRWJfUW41BSM9nUeL02xaIlI8QiOCmv/s1600-h/photos-hardware-01-20090608.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 370px; height: 229px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGsDxUoO5Zk5_dbeINWfM3sCthr9Ge3CksFhbLzScdrZEu-qIONE4o_7JXti8F2vrYVULshNrKPVuhTau9kWuTe1TgxQvnu7GPVsrftuZ4pqrH-jRWJfUW41BSM9nUeL02xaIlI8QiOCmv/s400/photos-hardware-01-20090608.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345151790440310546" border="0" /></a><br /><br /> The new iPhone 3GS was announced this morning at Apple's WWDC. It now has an auto-focus 3 megapixel snapper, 3G that is twice as fast, a faster processor, video recording, voice control, Nike+ support, Bluetooth 2.1 (rather than 2.0), a new oil and water resistant finish, and headphones with an inline remote to control your music. Another cool new feature is a magnetic compass. So now, you can tour remote areas without paying international roaming charges :P. But, the iPhone 3GS weighs 2 grams more than the iPhone 3G. The 8gb iPhone 3G is still being sold for just $99. Oddly, the babble on the lower end of the back of the iPhone 3G is gone (only in the pictures and 360 degree view)! <span style="font-weight: bold;"></span><br /> <div class="image" id="coherent_id_18" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px; width: 3px; height: 3px; z-index: 2;"><br /></div><br /> <div class="image" id="coherent_id_18" style="position: absolute; left: 0pt; top: 0pt; width: 100%; height: 100%; z-index: 1; display: none;"><img src="http://a248.e.akamai.net/7/248/2041/1547/store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/macbookpro/img/gallery-big-01.jpg" style="position: absolute; left: 50%; top: 50%; margin-top: -270px; margin-left: -360px;" height="540" width="720" /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt5Uu-vpw1b0vpuF2bXWaqJf-9_Pp7I1AdFkCB7ERsSxBNcbhW35asx4o6cfaYHkB9CSGq1FjAjAjs1RNXolyyYwo3YroWGf8LZWCYcdd7hiWM97afzb2gEuCv9oFw4dbCs_F4vvFYaXS4/s1600-h/picture1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 259px; height: 168px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt5Uu-vpw1b0vpuF2bXWaqJf-9_Pp7I1AdFkCB7ERsSxBNcbhW35asx4o6cfaYHkB9CSGq1FjAjAjs1RNXolyyYwo3YroWGf8LZWCYcdd7hiWM97afzb2gEuCv9oFw4dbCs_F4vvFYaXS4/s320/picture1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345151594046113378" border="0" /></a><br /> The unibody Macbooks are gone, but new 13-inch Macbook Pros are here, so there is not much to say, except that the 15 inch Macbook Pro does not have a removable battery anymore. We also get SD card slots and lose Expresscard slots in 15-inch Macbooks. Also, is it just me, or has Apple given the plastic Macbook Audio-In and excluded it from the 13-inch Macbook Pros? In my opinion, Apple should not have gotten rid of the black Macbooks. They were much classier than the white Macbooks. Also, Snow Leopard costs just $29 to upgrade to.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-1111605799187869792009-06-07T12:02:00.000-07:002009-06-07T16:46:49.295-07:00Custom Firmware on a PSP (without Pandora)We all want custom firmware on our PSPs, but none of us want to shell out 40 bucks for a Pandora Battery. It looks sophisticated and seems to take a styling cue from our good old PS3. Black was also the color of the Nintendo Revolution concept, but it was changed on the production model which was deemed the Wii. Unfortunately, we have no news on it ever being released in the USA.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-43040950187778846712009-06-05T16:08:00.000-07:002009-07-01T15:14:29.611-07:00Build the ultimate thumb drive!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitE5yhpv_oB6fE1zY0BUyDPNZHRMZ3bEO15XxYCzBSaWcqlruaA1HrleFy5r2Fgmkloa782jPZR1oq99QkqMs-bAePMf43YFe9ETjJ9CUionOtBrlo8AUAPfHvVyMt3vCvTaXGGc4wVM_9/s1600-h/usb.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitE5yhpv_oB6fE1zY0BUyDPNZHRMZ3bEO15XxYCzBSaWcqlruaA1HrleFy5r2Fgmkloa782jPZR1oq99QkqMs-bAePMf43YFe9ETjJ9CUionOtBrlo8AUAPfHvVyMt3vCvTaXGGc4wVM_9/s320/usb.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5344027038173033442" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Update:</span> Here is a link to my video tutorial: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wsmB36U23M">Ultimate USB<br /></a><br /> This next post is about making the best thumb drive ever. You can be the envy of all the geeks around you! Here are a bunch of easy steps to build your awesome thumb drive.<br /><br /> Step 1:<br />note: If you are a Windows user and have no access to a Mac, skip this step. If not, continue with this step.<br />First, partition your thumb drive so that you have at least about 100mb as a Macintosh formatted portion. The rest should be in good old fat32.<br />Step 2:<br />Install Linux. I recommend using <a href="http://www.slax.org/">Slax</a>, for it is lightweight and powerful. You can build your own release or just download the main build. Install this on the fat32 partition.<br />Step 3:<br />Portable Apps. Go to this <a href="http://portableapps.com/">link</a> and download the portable apps suite for your thumb drive. Install it to the fat32 partition. The standard suite is for thumb drives with more storage space. But, the lite suite is powerful enough. Windows users, you are done. If you have access to a mac, here's where the other partition comes into play. Visit this <a href="http://www.freesmug.org/portableapps/">link</a> and download all the apps you want and have the space for. Place the unzipped folders directly on to your Macintosh formatted partition.<br />Wrapping up:<br />Place all your media and docs on the fat32 partition in the folders that Portableapps created for you. To boot into Linux, change the BIOS to boot from the thumb drive. Now you have a very cool USB drive that you can use anywhere. It can help you out when you need to work on a document at a library or anything.Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-77021429346589487282009-06-04T20:40:00.000-07:002009-06-04T21:44:23.964-07:00E3 2009E3 2009 was a huge event for Microsoft and Sony. Here's the scoop on these companies:<br /> <br /> Sony:<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0DdFdHZ8UD3ufsZI2tLk70utuRBUJq_XkFGysA9_U5XrU0p5MSWxAQ_-EwZ_33zID5NbTxlLMRUsy2j5w-Wjz7ipTh5s1KEO_ZBQnHi58gmydypfuNHupNEQeHTTa9qfkrTT-luMs0XTG/s1600-h/PSP_Go_1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 181px; height: 142px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0DdFdHZ8UD3ufsZI2tLk70utuRBUJq_XkFGysA9_U5XrU0p5MSWxAQ_-EwZ_33zID5NbTxlLMRUsy2j5w-Wjz7ipTh5s1KEO_ZBQnHi58gmydypfuNHupNEQeHTTa9qfkrTT-luMs0XTG/s320/PSP_Go_1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343684689352552034" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4SbCVDM98vasPYOPl21o8EQYIO74xCeeQU0rHH7UPNu4VqjLf94bndrPLdnQ_qi444aXMnFuZTjaKH7DOCUQ64wEX7oFrIKUuwKyzwhXBjQXmOOlEs7G10HKeY5P7EklXUcIwZrj5Be0q/s1600-h/sony-playstation-3.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 193px; height: 132px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4SbCVDM98vasPYOPl21o8EQYIO74xCeeQU0rHH7UPNu4VqjLf94bndrPLdnQ_qi444aXMnFuZTjaKH7DOCUQ64wEX7oFrIKUuwKyzwhXBjQXmOOlEs7G10HKeY5P7EklXUcIwZrj5Be0q/s320/sony-playstation-3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343684794684370194" border="0" /></a> Sony's Playstation is on top with its new motion sensing controller. A few years ago, Nintendo made a huge innovation with its oh-so cool Wii. But now, it's motion sensing controller seems like a thing from the past. The new Playstation controller has much more accurate sensing. Here is a link to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiX-26VL4bM">the video about the Playstation sensor</a>. Another new innovation for Sony was the PSP Go. Personally, I don't see the PSP Go as much of an improvement over the original PSP. It has bluetooth, 16gb of internal space,and a slide up screen. With the original PSP, you can get 16 gb of memory with a memory stick, and the slide up screen makes the controls much less easy to play games. So that leaves bluetooth. But seriously, $80 for bluetooth? And, PSP Go probably won't be hackable, so bid good bye to Mario 64 on your PSP.<br /><br /> Microsoft:<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizhHUHf0N5VYdo5a1PPBCqjdBPFz0jb8a-BZ7v2VKDOKOlwm_kBLzl_3U30j_EdHrux3vTJ61BZ6xKNcVpQnoEyYKlkLjIhZ7iX23W6QXgGt3cjXyBqdXyCuxfnDgniOCpd-2PHji6DmHx/s1600-h/Motion_control_x_box_360.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 213px; height: 232px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizhHUHf0N5VYdo5a1PPBCqjdBPFz0jb8a-BZ7v2VKDOKOlwm_kBLzl_3U30j_EdHrux3vTJ61BZ6xKNcVpQnoEyYKlkLjIhZ7iX23W6QXgGt3cjXyBqdXyCuxfnDgniOCpd-2PHji6DmHx/s320/Motion_control_x_box_360.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343694441098111154" border="0" /></a><br /><br /> Project Natal. The words instill fear in all those Nintendo stock investors. Just looking at the videos gives you another reason to buy an Xbox 360. Project Natal is a cool new way to play your games and media without a controller. The thing works by uing 2 cameras and a microphone. Now give us Halo 3 compatability, and we're good to go. Check out the Xbox website for more info. Unfortunately, Natal is at least a year away, so don't buy an Xbox just yet. A lot of new games were previewed, including a new Metal Gear Solid, that's right, Metal Gear Solid!Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887561850514651165.post-88280000488969276572009-06-04T20:34:00.000-07:002009-06-04T20:37:52.822-07:00My First PostHi everyone, this is my blog which is all about technology. If you already have one, you can get $375 by using this article. Everyone wants a Playstation 3, but not all of us can afford one, especially in this dreaded recession. Follow these easy steps and you'll get your PS3 or some cash in no time.<br /><br />Before we begin, I would like to show you a video with solid proof that this is not a scam. I did not make this, I found it on Youtube.<br /><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fX5Ee0hZ0dY&hl=en&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fX5Ee0hZ0dY&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object><br />Step 1: Right-click this link and open it in a new tab: <a href="http://www.yourps34free.com/index.php?ref=5943340">yourps34free</a>. Enter your email address and click "Sign Me Up". Once you enter all of the required information hit "continue". Do not give fake information, for your PS3 will be shipped to the wrong address! Sign up for a referral account as a points account will cost you a lot in the long run.<br /><br />Step 2: Complete one Level A offer or a bunch of Level B offers to total 50 points. I recommend you take gamefly, emusic, blockbuster, or netflix.<br /><br />Step 3: Refer your friends to sign up and do the same. Depending on what prize you picked, you will need to get a different amount of referrals. The PS3 80gb system will cost you 8 referrals.<br /><br />Step 4: Once you have enough referrals, go ahead and order your prize. Within a couple weeks, you will have a brand new PS3!<br /><br />If you have any questions, leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can. You can also click on the free PS3 image on the right side of my blog at any time to access the free PS3 website. Good Luck!Yash Vhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09605291388349736068noreply@blogger.com0
